Hello, I’m Colette, an experienced Integrative Counsellor and Family Practitioner. I’m passionate about supporting my clients through some of life’s toughest moments, like breakups, divorces, and relationship struggles.
As an integrative counsellor, I use different ways of working to suit what you need. Whether it's talking things through in a gentle and caring way, exploring your thoughts and feelings, or finding practical ways to help you cope, I’m here to walk alongside you. My aim is to create a warm, safe space where you feel comfortable to share whatever’s on your mind, without fear of judgement.
I also work with parents, helping them manage their emotions and find their way through co-parenting. I know from personal experience how hard this can be — when my relationship ended, my children were just 1 and 3 years old. Now that they’re in their 20s, they have a positive relationship with both me and their dad, and I know firsthand how challenging yet rewarding that journey can be.
I believe that no matter what you're facing, healing and hope are possible. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, I’m here to listen and help you find your way.
Alongside my counselling work, I’m a Master NLP Practitioner, and I use techniques that can help you connect with yourself more deeply. These include:
Timeline Therapy: This gentle process helps you explore memories and let go of painful emotions or beliefs that might be holding you back. By revisiting those moments in a safe way, you can begin to feel lighter and more at peace.
Inner Child Connection: This approach is about connecting with the younger part of you that may still be carrying hurt, fear, or sadness. By giving that part of you the understanding and compassion it needs, you can start to feel stronger and more confident in yourself today.
Parts and Chair Therapy: Sometimes we feel like there are different sides of us pulling in opposite directions. This method helps you explore those feelings and bring them into balance, so you feel calmer and clearer.
Anchors: This simple technique helps you create a strong connection to feelings like calm, confidence, or courage. By practising this, you can tap into those feelings when you need them most.
My hope is that through our work together, you’ll feel more secure in yourself, more able to manage your emotions, and more connected to the people who matter to you.
