 Relational Couselling & Coaching

Relational counselling is a therapeutic approach that emphasises the importance of relationships in shaping an individual's emotional well-being. It focuses on understanding how interactions with others influence one's self-perception and overall mental health. By exploring and improving these relational patterns, individuals can achieve greater self-awareness and develop healthier connections with others.

I Use NLP Coaching to Support Clients To Move Forward In Their Lives !

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) can be a powerful tool to help you break free from these emotional patterns and move forward with clarity and confidence.

NLP is a therapeutic approach that explores the connection between your thoughts, language, and behaviours. By understanding and changing the way you think and communicate with yourself.

NLP can help you:

  • Reframe Negative Beliefs: Break free from thoughts like "I’m not good enough" or "I’ll never be happy again." NLP helps you shift these beliefs into more positive, empowering perspectives, allowing you to embrace a brighter future.
  • Release Emotional Attachments: If you're struggling to let go of your ex-partner, NLP techniques can help you process those emotions and release any lingering emotional attachments, making space for new possibilities in your life.
  • Build Confidence and Self-Worth: After a breakup, it’s easy to feel a loss of confidence. NLP can help you rediscover your strengths, rebuild your self-esteem, and regain trust in yourself.
  • Break Old Patterns: If you find yourself repeating the same emotional reactions or behaviors, NLP helps you reprogram these patterns, so you can approach future relationships—and life in general—differently.

Incorporating NLP into our sessions will help you gain the mental and emotional tools needed to help you manage your situation.

Using Mindfulness Can Help Clients Manage Their Emotions !

Mindfulness is a powerful tool for managing the emotional challenges. By staying present and aware of your thoughts and feelings without judgment, you can find calm and balance during this difficult time.

Here’s how mindfulness can help:

  • Managing Emotions: Mindfulness helps you stay grounded during intense feelings like sadness, anger, or anxiety.
  • Self-Compassion: It encourages kindness toward yourself, easing guilt and self-criticism.
  • Breaking Negative Thought Cycles: Mindfulness stops you from dwelling on past regrets by keeping your focus on the present.
  • Reducing Anxiety and Stress: Breathing exercises and meditation can calm your nervous system and bring clarity.
  • Improving Emotional Awareness: Mindfulness helps you process emotions thoughtfully rather than feeling overwhelmed.
  • Better Communication: It supports calm, respectful interactions, especially when co-parenting or dealing with an ex.
  • Fostering Acceptance: Mindfulness helps you accept what’s happened and move forward with strength.
  • Rebuilding Your Identity: It helps you reconnect with your self-worth and feel grounded in who you are.

Mindfulness techniques are woven into my therapeutic approach, to help you feel calm, present, and emotionally balanced.

I Offer Parenting Coaching To Support Parents After A Break-Up

Supporting You and Your Child Through Relationship Changes

Relationship challenges—whether you're going through a breakup, navigating co-parenting, or facing difficulties in your relationship—can feel overwhelming. My approach combines practical tools with emotional insight to support both you and your child during this transition. Together, we can explore:

🔹 Helping Your Child Feel Secure – Relationship struggles can leave children feeling confused, anxious, or withdrawn. I’ll help you understand their emotional needs and provide strategies to offer reassurance, build trust, and create a safe, stable environment.

🔹 Managing Conflict with Your Partner or Ex – Disagreements about parenting, boundaries, or routines can create ongoing tension. I can support you with tools to improve communication, reduce conflict, and set clear boundaries that protect your child’s wellbeing.

🔹 Building Emotional Awareness – Children may express their feelings through difficult behaviour. I'll help you develop skills to manage tantrums, anxiety, or anger in a way that fosters understanding rather than conflict.

🔹 Co-Parenting Strategies – Whether you're navigating co-parenting after a breakup or trying to improve teamwork in your current relationship, I can guide you in creating consistent routines, improving communication, and developing a parenting approach that puts your child’s needs first.

🔹 Managing Guilt or Self-Doubt – It’s common to question if you're doing enough or worry about how your relationship struggles impact your child. I’ll help you process these feelings and develop confidence in your parenting style.

🔹 Strengthening Your Bond – By learning how to connect with your child emotionally, even when you're feeling exhausted or overwhelmed, you can build a deeper sense of trust and security.

Parenting through relationship challenges isn’t easy, but with the right tools and support, you can create a positive, nurturing environment where both you and your child can thrive.
